Hi my name is Maddie Shangraw and I am a senior at East Lansing High School. I have been on the yearbook staff for three years. The only reason I joined yearbook was because my freshmen English teacher said it would be a good idea. At the time I was desperate to be a part of something but was nervous to try something new. No one could have prepared me for how much yearbook would mean to me. Over the years I learned how to work on a team and compromise with others. Without yearbook I would not have been able to be as confident and leadership oriented as I am today.
