This was my first ever spread. I was really able to learn about design elements and how they can emphasize certain parts of your design.

This spread was another one I designed in the What We Were book. This page learned how to improve my cutouts and make them more interesting to look at instead of floating bodies.

This was the first thematic spread I had ever done. I had never been able to have so much control over the design of my pages before. Because this book was modeled off of the magazine Vogue I had a lot of fun really leaning into the design aspects of that.

I was incredibly proud of this spread. It was all about college game day at our school. It was the first year we had ever done something like this at our school. I had a lot of fun creating one spread about one topic.

This was one of the winter spreads I designed for timeless. I had some great photos to work with for the dominate, and I created a clear eyeline for the page.

This was the endsheet for this years book. It was one of the first things i designed for the yearbook. It really set the whole tone for the rest of what I would be designing. I enjoyed playing with waves and color and making it visually interesting.

This is the title page for this years yearbook. Again I got to play with lines and color. Because of the photo I was given, I had a lot more freedom to have the text be its own design element and really work hand in hand with the photo.

This spread is the first divider in our book. This spread pushed me our of my comfort zone. I have been scared of white space my entire design career. but with this book we wanted our theme to really portray airiness and space, and white space is an excellent way to accomplish this. At first I hated how it looked and thought I really needed to fill the space. but once I overcame my fear of white space I was able to embrace the change.
